The Horror!? 84: Panic (1976? 1982?)

In a town in what is supposed to be England, a highly infectious (as proven by the fact that exactly one person is infected in the whole movie) and deadly (as proven by the fact that said victim is remarkably spry) contaminates a certain Professor Adams (Roberto Ricci), turning him into a red-scaled, blood-drinking, green-goo-oozing monster. The professor goes on a minor killing spree, as befits his new state. The British government likes to be on the safe side when oh so terrible diseases are on the loose and orders "Plan Q" to be enacted. This means the total quarantine of the town and after a few hours the total eradication of its populace through the "accident" of a plane carrying nerve gas crashing into town.

The town will only be spared if Special Services agent Captain Kirk (!) (David Warbeck) can find and kill Professor Adams.

Well, this is a slightly cheesy, very silly monster movie with a badly thought through evil Government angle. It's mostly entertaining if you like this kind of thing (which I of course do) and even has a few effective scenes. You don't see a grunting mutant attack a catholic boy's choir very often. Only in Italy...
