On WTF: Berserker (2001)

Sometimes, I miss the glorious days of cheesy action/fantasy direct-to-video movies of the 90s, when crap auteurs were ambitious, and their product often funny. Then I usually remember Steven Seagal and cry.

But director/writer Paul Matthews remembered those times too, and made a perfectly terrible movie about Vikings, reincarnation and glowing vampires in the olden style, calling it - somewhat fittingly - Berserker. It's a total catastrophe, but fortunately also a hell of a time. I'll explain (well, sort of) in my weekly stint at the venerable WTF-Film.
